Well today just shows how far the class level has fallen in America. As many of you already know, Senator Ted Kennedy died last night. As usual, the nuts have come out on both sides of  the political cyberspace to spew ridiculousness.

Memo to the left; Teddy was not a saint. He could not walk on water. His actions one evening in July of 1969 after his car accident were despicable. If any one of us used the same judgement we would have been thrown in prison. However his name was Kennedy, so his punishment was to serve in the Senate for almost 50 years.

Memo to the right; Teddy was not the Antichrist. Yes we can agree that many of the policies he favored were destructive to the country, however you make the movement look like a bunch of slack jawed yokels by tweeting statements like “burn in hell Teddy.” As @Infedelsarecool pointed out on Twitter, we do not want to emulate some on the left who wanted to piss on Tony Snow’s grave.

Here is my advice to you kids out there. To my friends on the left, ignore the nuts that want to celebrate Kennedy’s death. To my friends on the right, never forget that Kennedy was not a saint but don’t piss on his body before it turns cold….

As for me, I will not watch TV for the next couple of days. Well except for maybe South Park and Family Guy reruns….
